SYNOPSIS

[EN] Set in Kerala, India, IN THE WAKE reveals the weaving community as a place of abundant beauty and strong cultural heritage. The workforce today is mostly composed of women, and the craft that has been passed down from generation to generation may not be passed on anymore, amidst the chaos of consumerism and mass production. After overcoming a massive flood, problems persist.
