SYNOPSIS

[EN] Fake news, political polarization, conflict. Brazil's presidential election in 2018, the one that elected Jair Bolsonaro, was one of the most decisive and intense in the country's history. “Portrait” is an essay film that reinterprets footage from street artistic performances about democracy and the respective reactions of its passers-by a few days before the voting.
