SYNOPSIS

[EN] Shadows from an interwar Yiddish poem by A. Lutzky waltz at the edge of a modern world as it crumbles under their feet. "The Waltz" is based on the poem by Aaron Lutsky, pen name of the Yiddish poet Aaron Zucker (1894-1957). Aaron was born in Lutsk, Ukraine, and immigrated to New York in the early 20s century. The poem was sung in the Lodz Ghetto during World War Two.
