SYNOPSIS

[EN] Duchess Luise of Sachsen-Coburg-Saalfeld married 1817 the duke Ernst of Coburg when she is 16 years old. The marriage is overshadowed by Ernsts affairs. It is not easy for Luise to find her place at court because of her unconventionel and independent character. She finally becomes separated from her kids and banished to St. Wendel.
