SYNOPSIS

[EN] Akesi and the Congo River introduces Akesi in his hometown of Brazzaville. Trying to make sense of his brother’s death, Akesi is led to the river, where a mystical journey unfolds. Seeing how the tribes celebrate those they’ve lost allows Akesi to make peace with his grief and enter a new state of understanding the cultures that surround him.
