SYNOPSIS

[EN] 1963 New Zealand, an out of wedlock pregnancy threatens to unravel 18-year-old Mary’s dreams of a career and independence. Weighed down by shame and expectation Mary takes matters into her own hands, desperate to bring on her period and reclaim her future. Her efforts come to an abrupt halt when her Mother uncovers the truth and Mary must make a decision that will change the course of her life.
