SYNOPSIS

[EN] Alexei and Makysm, two Russian students who are desperate to stay in Canada after their visas expire, conspire to seek asylum by posing as a couple. But their plan to stage a fake engagement gets derailed when deep-seated traumas and socio-cultural pressures force Maksym to sabotage their chance for happiness and a new life together.
