SYNOPSIS

[EN] Inspired by true events, Homegrown follows Barbadian fruit pickers Nicole and Vincent who endure exploitative conditions on a UK fruit farm on the hottest day of the year. As the temperatures and racial tensions rise, promises are broken and Nicole must take matters into her own hands in this dark drama which uncovers the reality behind the West's food supply chain.
