SYNOPSIS

[EN] "My mother had what they call kavalai." In Tamil, kavalai means "worries." For Anika, it's an unknowable gulf. As she recounts a childhood memory, she reflects on what this gulf revealed about the most important unrequited love of her life - her mother.
