SYNOPSIS

[EN] grief / gri:f / noun 1 : a portal into the nature of self. Tough Love is an experimental mixed-media exploration of grief that was formed in the wake of my grandmother's death. In the presence of absence, the mind, body, and spirit undergo an enigmatic journey through a house of mirrors made of time, memory, and creation. This process shows the full spectrum of light and dark we call being human staring back. We are given a rare opportunity: to see and feel our true nature beyond the stories we tell ourselves. Can knowing death be a means of living with less fear?
