[EN] We are in the 90s. A local power-run radio channel openly vilifies people who are not aligned with the hateful provincial conformity. When Mariaelena is subjected to the harassment of the Colora Fustinaja (that’s the name of the radio channel, “Whipping Snake”), three reckless friends, followed by an old ex-alcoholic poet, decide to fight this situation (Falamus literally means “let’s go down” but a better translation would be “let’s fight” or “let’s go riot”). In order to succeed, the four must be able to involve Uncle Bussanu, an outsider who lives in the countryside with his sister and who speaks only Sardinian (the island's local language). Uncle Bussanu is a man who is easy to anger and to use knives, so given his tumultuous past with the radio channel, it is very dangerous to talk about certain topics with him.
