SYNOPSIS

[EN] "Lost in waiting" tells the story of Li Ming, who meets a mysterious passenger in an overnight cab ride and resumes his investigation into the disappearance of his daughter ten years ago. The mysterious passenger leaves a pink bracelet behind when she gets out of the cab, a clue that leads Li Ming and his ex-wife Zhao Hong to start their investigation. As the investigation progresses, the two discover secrets about their old friends, as well as things they never realized about themselves. The story shows the dilemmas, frustrations and powerlessness in the face of truth that they face in their quest for the truth.
