SYNOPSIS

[EN] A nine-year-old boy lives in an environment of poverty and violence in which his stepfather regularly assaults his mother. He dreams of having a fish tank and his own fish. He sells his school lunch every day until he raises enough money to buy the goldfish. Arriving at home with the fish he encounters another ferocious argument in which the stepfather strikes his mother. The boy decides to take the fish to a nearby river and release them.
