SYNOPSIS

[EN] At the age of 25, Shujing quit the job her mother had arranged for her and moved to another country to start a new life. When her mother followed her, it led to a fierce argument between them, touching on various issues such as dreams versus reality, marriage, and emotions. The generational gap between the two women became starkly apparent, revealing their profound differences in values and beliefs.Meanwhile, Shujing's friendship with her best friend and cousin, Qiong, also faced a crisis. Qiong showed a more compromising attitude toward real-life issues, different from Shujing's. Through their argument, Shujing came to understand Qiong's helplessness in the face of reality.
