[EN] In the agave fields of contemporary rural México, a new silhouette of masculinity takes shape. Work, fatherhood, and nature intertwined throughout a workday with three men whose sensitivity and idiosyncrasies warmly depict the legendary craft of the jimador, challenging the stereotype of the Mexican macho. Through the hypnotic labor of agave harvesting and the journey of light throughout the day, we witness the threats looming over the artisanal work of these farmers, the deep respect these loving fathers have for their families, and the significance of freedom in reshaping the image of men in this society.
