SYNOPSIS

[EN] HOMEWARD is a comedic drama about an adult man with autistic traits and a girl who finds herself disillusioned with the world. After the loss of Louise' mother, Martin is set to become her legal guardian unless he relinquishes his responsibility towards the family, to whom he does not wish to be tied. Instead, he attempts to deliver Louise to her great-aunt on Læsø. With equal parts disdain for the world and each other, the unlikely pair embarks on a road trip across the country to escape one another and once again be left to their own devices.
