SYNOPSIS

[EN] Janne, the father of five children, fell to the lowest level of social class after the divorce and has been homeless in Helsinki for over four years now. He carries only the most necessary things in his blue backpack, such as an old laptop and notebook. He is writing a novel based on his own experiences of homelessness. The threat of violence on the street is constant and the worry of staying out in the cold at night can never be underestimated. The urban space in all its beauty and harshness provides the frame for Janne's journey from the street to his own apartment.
