SYNOPSIS

[EN] ROBIN is a young woman who lives alone above a gas station in small town Canada. Every night she watches truckers fill their tanks up and munch on pepperettes. Robin has a secret. Robin is a porn addict. Robin can’t feel anything anymore. It’s a hot summer in the middle of the annual swarm. Shadflies take over the whole town. They don’t have mouths. They can’t feed. They have one purpose in life, to fuck. If only Robin could experience that kind of carnal pleasure… Robin has to keep going more extreme to satisfy her porn cravings. She used to be able to make love, now she can’t even maintain friendships. Her closest friend, GAIA, notices her detachment. Gaia’s connection to the earth tells her there’s only one way to pull Robin back into the present. Gaia calls on Robin to strip down naked in the forest and love herself again. It might be the magic Robin needs to bring her back to life.
