SYNOPSIS

[EN] In rural Friuli, a region in northern Italy, twelve-year-old Rosi lives with her sisters Emy and Mary and their depressed mother after their father abandoned them. Rosi manages the household, cares for her sisters, and endures bullying at school. To earn money for herself, she sells worms to fishermen, while her mother clings to the hope of the father's return despite harsh realities. Amidst their struggles, the family's strong bonds endure. An unexpected act of kindness illuminates Rosi's path, highlighting her personal growth, resilience, and empowerment in overcoming adversity.
