SYNOPSIS

[EN] Every seven weeks, Ela (59) commutes back and forth between her family in Poland and her work in Germany as a 24-hour caretaker for 92-year-old Marta. While Marta spends the whole day physically restricted in the living room and is dependent on Ela's help, Ela looks after the household, takes care of Marta and always has the daily schedule in her head. For Ela, the temporary home, in which she has a small room and three hours of free time per day, means a balancing act between the paid care work and the duty of care she has towards her own family back home.
