SYNOPSIS

[EN] CODE ROUGE follows Jin, a romantic young man living in Shenzhen, China who dreams of becoming a body builder like his idol Arnold Schwarzenegger. But when he witnesses the murder of his gym rival, hours after secretly wishing for their downfall, Jin’s world is shattered. In a frantic 24-hour quest for truth, Jin encounters mind-bending synchronicities that challenge his grasp of reality and understanding of himself. Along the way, Jin is forced to reckon with his insecurities and discover the ultimate lesson - that self-actualization begins with self-love. A phantasmagorical odyssey 5 years in the making - filmed across Shenzhen, China and Paris, France.
