SYNOPSIS
[EN] Never Come Fetch Me is a coming-of-age story set against all odds. Through the eyes of Sherwin, a 15-year-old boy living in the notorious Cape Flats in South Africa, the film reflects on feelings of loneliness, loss, adolescence, and hope amidst the allure of crime within the world's most unequal city. The film explores the wounds that still haunt South Africa and perpetuate a cyclical system of violence, suffering, and gangsterism.
