SYNOPSIS

[EN] When the family matriarch passes away, two immigrant cousins are given two days to prepare for her afterlife. There is never a right or perfect way to say goodbye. Thus, at it’s core, ‘Since You Left’ is what one more hug would feel like. It seeks to hold space for loss, longing, and heartbreak, while respecting the infinitely complex ways in which humans grieve, especially in private. My hope is that the audience find pieces of themselves in the characters the story portrays, while remembering fondly of their late loved ones.
