SYNOPSIS

[EN] A pirate ship floats on the Po river in Turin. On the bank, a man calls for help to inert silhouettes of colored cardboard that represents corsairs, sultans and bajaderas. It’s the last theatre set up by Italy's greatest adventure storyteller, Emilio Salgari, who exhausted his creativity and destroyed his wife’s life. The only human being to whom he can confess is a civic guard who has come down to the river to persuade him to unload his abusive theater.
