SYNOPSIS

[EN] Territory is an animated film that metaphorically portrays the experience of an eating disorder. The main character is kidnapped by her own body, which drags her into an emotional maze of feelings she faces. In this mysterious journey, the girl chases and escapes an abstract red ball - a symbol of obsessions and desires related to the body, food and power - that tempts and scares her concurrently. The film explores the toxic relationship between a person and his or her body, showing that the body in this disease is both the greatest treasure and the most dangerous oppressor. Territory portrays the disease from an intimate, internal perspective, highlighting the confusion, loneliness and sense of loss of control - emotions that are often invisible, but deeply embedded in the daily lives of those struggling with eating disorders.
