A call from his mother—she tells him to ride it. He refuses. She reminds him of their first date on that bike. He still cannot. At home, he lingers in the emptiness. A message from his wife: "We need to talk... You have been away for too long" He falls asleep. His mother wakes him—urging him to go to his wife, to leave the house, to move on. He’s late. Runs out. The car won’t start. The bus is gone. The only way left: his father’s bike. Panic. Highways. Trucks. Fear grips him, but he rides. He arrives, breathless. His wife sees something new in him. The date ends in laughter. He rides home, victorious—tears in his eyes, a smile ear to ear. A child, happy on a bike, with an adult by his side.
