SYNOPSIS

[EN] Flo lives with her teenage sister and grandmother in a swampy South Florida mobile home, beneath the glow of a 500-foot guitar-shaped casino where she works. Feverish and unsettled, she feels something stirring inside her. Maybe the flu. Maybe an ancient rewilding. Over the course of one night, her bond with her sister drifts between rivalry and tenderness. As ecological unease and personal turmoil intertwine, Underground River becomes a darkly playful meditation on climate change, capitalism, and the strange transformations born of unmitigated growth.
