SYNOPSIS

[EN] The Taiyang Notes tell of a mythical creature whispered about in western Taiwan—the "Shark-Deer," a being that shifts between deer on land and shark in water, its antlers ever present. One day, an antlered figure emerged from a blackened fishpond, its form half-man, half-fish, and moved slowly toward a waste-strewn town. Was this the return of the fabled beast, or a "Fishpond Monster" born of the town's collective imagination?
