SYNOPSIS

[EN] When Rooney, a reclusive young woman from the UK, travels to a small Italian town for the funeral of her estranged father - a once beloved musician - she finds herself caught between mourning a man she barely knew and confronting the messy truths he left behind. Overwhelmed by a foreign culture and her own conflicted grief, Rooney crosses paths with Giulia, a spirited teenager who claims to be her half-sister. As language barriers fall away through a clumsy but heartfelt use of a translation app, the two girls piece together the fragments of their shared family history. What begins as a tense reunion slowly transforms into a tender, unlikely connection - one shaped by grief, humour, and the uncanny ways memory lingers in objects left behind.
