SYNOPSIS

[EN] In Cuba, night falls deeper than ever before. Darkness swallows every crossroad, every house, every human being. People say the blackout is here to stay, like everything else on the island. In the main church, a priest flips through the pages of Genesis. An old blind singer serenades his wife with a song he wrote for her years ago. A boy challenges his teacher to an endless game of chess. A fisherman dives into the river with his lantern. Dreams, desires, and the hidden stories of people’s subconscious intertwine with the sounds of nature, which grow louder in the silence left by technology. Reality fades with the passing hours, making room for imagination, until the arrival of a new dawn.
