[EN] Part 1 – Soleil en vrai (Music Video) Oscar, alone in his room, explores a dreamlike world through a VR headset. There, he meets Lize in a colorful, fantasy-like landscape. In reality, both are isolated, trying to connect through this virtual space. Their hands nearly touch, but lack substance. Outside, society mirrors their loneliness—people reach for invisible partners. When Oscar’s computer breaks, he’s pulled back into reality. Looking out the window, he notices a bizarre figure: a punk with a giant papier-mâché head, filming him with a camcorder. Intrigued and unsettled, Oscar’s story pauses on a cliffhanger. Part 2 – 14 friends in my head (Musical Short Film) Oscar chases the strange punk through the streets and encounters surreal characters: two Action Man–like figures, who become his new imaginary friends. Together, they embark on an emotional, fantastical journey across Paris, the suburbs, and the countryside. Along the way, they encounter Henri (the punk), Mike & Jason (the Action Men), and Athénor (a menacing horse-man in a bathrobe). The narrative blends reality, imagination, and stop-motion dream sequences, shifting from joyful musical numbers to darker, melancholic moments. The journey culminates in Ardèche, where Oscar follows Athénor into a squatted building. There, time seems suspended: people are frozen like statues, until life bursts forth again. Themes of loneliness, childhood imagination, friendship, fragility, and the blurred line between reality and fantasy run throughout the film.
