Tom Tutone

BIOGRAPHIE

Tom has recently finished studying a Bachelor of Film and Television (Honours) at Swinburne University and is an avid consumer of films (read: Letterboxd user). Driven to create films and music videos, Tom aspires to construct a career as a writer, director, cinematographer or all of the above. His love of filmmaking emerged during primary school when he would turn any assignment possible into a video submission. It was during this same era when he began creating stop motion wrestling and Lego animations with the goal of becoming a famous Youtuber. These days, determined to zig whilst everyone zags, Tom instead hosts a weekly podcast (apparently the irony is missed on him) with his brother titled Ego Hour where they talk film, music and music films. Some of Tom’s achievements in film include working as the cinematographer on the 16mm short film Phone Booth, writing and directing music videos for the Melbourne musician Good Brother and completing a two-month internship at a commercial production company in Los Angeles during 2020.
