SYNOPSIS

Sara is a young woman who lives in solitude, surrounded by decay and an oppressive sense of emptiness. On the day of her twenty-first birthday, while the world forgets her, she finds a box of old DVDs next to the trash bins. Among the films worn by time, an amateur series catches her attention: grainy images of a girl trapped in a spiral of violence, a fragment of pain that seems to speak to her in silence. Enzo, on the other hand, stubbornly chases success. He believes he is destined for fame, but the world of entertainment mercilessly rejects him. Frustrated, he clings to his narcissism and unleashes his anger on Sara, turning her into the target of his resentment. After being humiliated by Enzo, Sara transforms: her pain channels into an act of extreme revenge. She buys a bottle of acid and throws it in the boy’s face, irreparably disfiguring him. Six months later, Enzo, now permanently marked, finally finds his chance at success precisely because of his deformed face, which becomes the perfect symbol of the sensationalization of pain and suffering.
